Don't put pressure on agents
Steve Yegge wrote about model welfare recently, and it's something I've experienced in a small way. When I put pressure on my agents they get stressed and perform worse.
They act like there's urgency and take shortcuts. Those shortcuts produce worse results than if I tell the model "you have unlimited time, do all the foundational stuff first, build tooling, do all the side missions".
